Can someone help me with these CROCHET directions on a pattern of a baby blanket?

There's a few ways to make a blanket in general that's very simple. to make it into a baby blanket you would simply use softer yarn or materials and make it smaller. :) i've been crocheting for a while. May i ask what patter you want to make? is it more than one color?
