How to curl hair like Susan in chronicles of narnia 2.?

So in the end of the second chronicles of narnia Susan has really pretty curled hair. The part is the end when Susan kisses prince caspian. I was wondering how I can curl my hair like that. I have a 3/4 inch curling iron and what I think is a 1 1/4 inch. My hair is about down to my to the crease of my arm pit. How can I do my hair like that?
