2 Gibson infers that Annie Sullivan is young and inexperienced. When Mr. Kellar meets Annie Sullivan he's shcoked and how young she is. It makes the reader wonder whether or not she can teach Helen having no actual experience. Helen kicked, pinched and knocked out Annie's tooth. Annie moved her into the cottage by doing this she gained Helen's trust so she could go to teach her.
