AC to 5V DC Power Supply?

You may just be blowing the fuse with the inrush current to your capacitors when you first turn it on. Try a series resistor between the diodes and the positive side of the capacitors. This isn't a high power consumption problem, so start with 10 ohms or so and work from there.
