Can a relationship still happen after what I did?

It's not embarring to confess to someone who won't say it back. The fact that you confessed to her shows confidence. We men (and women) are not mind readers and we can't feel and know if someone likes you back. Its only embarring if you didn't say your feelings at all after all that time. The girl might have been surprised and happy, but her heart JUST isn't really yet. No biggy it happens a lot. So just be happy that you said something and wait for her answer. To me I rather confess than to do nothing.
