My ends are so dry and harsh looking i need help?

i recently cut my hair and hardley use any products in my hair as im trying to grow it long.... BUT my ends look really bad so i need a product that really can help my hair out especially the ends....thyre not split ends but look like it....i straighten my hair this weekend and the neds look horrible i applied an oil thing a serum and biosilk and nothing it was perfect for like 5 minutes then they went back to looking dry and very bad its just the lower 1in. of the hair but when they cut my hair they chopped everything that was damaged.ia there a product i can use that will help make them look and help reapair my ends? i do dep conditioning every 2 weeks but isnt helping much.
